There are over 200
golf courses in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. These golf courses
were selected as our preferred courses by our golf specialists to
provide the golfer with the best overall experience. Our recommendations
were chosen based on their quality, location and price. We have
selected a mix of the desert-style golf distinctive to Arizona,
along with more traditional parkland courses and tropical courses
like those you might find in Florida or Southern California. We
feel these are the best packages and the best values!

A traditional parkland course, the tree-lined fairways
of Indian Bend present a unique challenge. Genuine
shot making skills are required to successfully
master this fun and challenging layout. This is
one of the very few courses in the area where you
must shape shots to fit into tight, curving fairways
in order to give yourself opportunities to score
well. More about

Also a traditional parkland course, the Padre
course could be considered the “big brother”
to Indian Bend. The fairways are generous, which
can be a very welcome change from desert-style courses
for which area golf has become famous. There are
many memorable holes and outstanding scenery all
the way around. We highly recommend the Padre course
if you’re looking for a break from desert
golf. More about

Kierland can best be described as a combination
of desert and parkland golf. Some elements of desert
golf are definitely present, although not as severely
so as on many of the area courses. Kierland offers
exceptional conditioning, three distinct nines for
variety, and perhaps the best location in the city.

Located close to downtown Phoenix, Lookout Mountain
provides almost all of the options available in
Arizona golf on one challenging and entertaining
golf course. Huge elevation changes provide spectacular
views on several of the holes. Desert conditions
are present but don’t dominate play as they
can on some of the more severe desert-style courses.
We consider Lookout Mountain a good, solid, fun
golf course that is very representative of Arizona
golf. More about The

golf you’ll find in the desert. This wind-blown,
links course has won several awards for design excellence.
The rugged beauty of the desert fits surprisingly
well with traditional links design features. More

stands as the hallmark of the desert golf experience.
The course stretches through the natural ravines
and foothills in the high Sonoran desert and Pinnacle
Peak. The challenge, visual sensation, and special
ambiance of Troon North sets the standards by which
all other desert courses are measured. This facility
is always immaculately groomed and customer service
is exceptional. More

The Pinnacle Course is Monument’s younger
but larger sibling. Pinnacle plays a few shots harder
and offers even more elevation changes and spectacular
views than Monument. This is one of Tom Weiskopf’s
early solo efforts and remains one of his best works.
While Monument is the more classic design, Pinnacle
is wilder and more extreme. This is one you won’t
soon forget. More

course doesn't play like a typical desert course.
